Dahab, meaning gold in Arabic, is a beautiful town in Egypt, located in the southern tip of Sinai. It's extremely easy to reach from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, roughly 1 hour way by car.

The combination of Red Sea and Sinai desert make Dahab perfect for world class windsurfing, scuba diving, freediving and rock climbing. On top of that you get cheap accommodation near the beach, inexpensive food and drink and a relaxed atmosphere.

Dahab is sunny all year round, winters are our favourite time to visit this paradise as days are warm with mild nights.
Location
Dahab is a unique combination of locals and foreigners who have come from all over the world, bringing a rich and diverse lifestyle to this small town. The Bedouin who still live in Dahab have chosen to remain here and give Dahab a rich cultural heritage!

When you’re in Dahab, it’s easy to forget that you’re in Egypt as its vibe is one of a kind. Everyone is very friendly, welcoming and safe. You can spend time strolling along the coast enjoying the quirky, instagrammable shops and trying all types of different food. From freshly caught fish & seafood, traditional Egyptian cuisine to Chinese, Indian and Italian - Dahab has it all.
Culture
Our favourite way to enjoy the Dahabian nightlife is to go to a local café, drink Bedouin tea, eat wonderful desserts and soak in the atmosphere of live music. There are also several bars where you can grab a drink, which is more of a European vibe and where many expats tend to go.
The nightlife is not filled with commercial clubs that you can hop around from one to the other, as Dahab seeks to retain its low-key atmosphere that has attracted so many people over the years.
Alternatively, you can go and eat your dinner on a mountain under millions of stars or attend a rave in the desert, it’s your choice!
Nightlife
A typical day starts with a scuba dive in the Red Sea, followed by a traditional Egyptian breakfast. You'll start your work around mid-morning, working for a few hours.
For lunch you have many options, swim in the sea, walk or jog along the coast, take a bike ride or find a nice sit-down restaurant.
After your work day has finished you can enjoy some freshly caught seafood for dinner and head to a local café in the evening to enjoy some live music, while enjoying Bedouin tea and dessert.

On the weekends you can take longer trips such as:
-
Camping in the desert to see unparalleled views of the stars
-
Snorkelling the Blue Hole ( a world famous spot for scuba & free diving)
-
Quad biking on the mountains
-
Kite surfing with the incredible waves
-
Taking your PADI scuba diving license.

Outside of work you’ll get to enjoy the bohemian lifestyle of Dahab, whether you’re into adventure, relaxation or good food, Dahab has got you covered!
